Emily seemed confused for a moment, so I decided it was time to end the conversation. "So, Adelle had a suggestion that would make my risk worthwhile. As you know, she has a free-spirited nature. Without me saying anything, she offered..."

“Offered what?” asked Emily curiously, when I couldn’t find the right words immediately.

“Offered her body for me to use freely. You know when I would have… needs, instead of using my hands… to use her body. And… she would act normally like nothing is happening. It is kind of like a…”

“Free-to-use deal?”

“Exactly!” I said relieved. I wasn’t sure if Emily would know about such things. “I know it sounds weird, but the past 24 hours have been working out great for us. I know we probably won’t be able to ever go back to the same way we used to be… but it’s not like she is not walking around practically half-naked all the time.” I finished and blushed a little.

Emily pondered for a few seconds about what she heard.

“Well… first, you guys are disgusting. I didn’t really need to know any of this,” said Emily when she understood that I was done explaining. “Secondly… I don’t really care. As long as I don’t have to see it. I was coming to the kitchen last night for extra snacks, but now I need to add things to the list for my therapist for the time I can afford one.”

“Yeah, I’m sorry about that. That was inconsiderate and I just got caught up in the moment and didn’t expect you to come out of your room. I’m sorry…” I said and tried my best to sound remorseful.

Emily glanced at me, then returned her attention to the sink and kept washing the dishes. "Just don't do it in the common areas," she said. "You can do whatever you want in your own room. It doesn't bother me."

And with that, she deemed the discussion concluded, which was a huge relief for me. This was mainly the only thing that bothered me since last night and generally about our deal with Adelle. While it sucked that I can’t bang Adelle in the kitchen or in the living room… that still left our rooms and the bathroom… basically half of the flat.

Satisfied with the results, I put some chicken nuggets into the oven and started brewing some coffee… which I was originally coming for.

Emily kept fidgeting around the kitchen, which wasn’t normal behaviour from her. I knew her for a couple of years, so I was aware that she was trying to say something, just wasn’t sure how to approach it.

“Emily, just say it, whatever it is… then you can go back to your cave,” I said, trying to cut her struggle short. She looked offended for a moment, then seemingly made her mind up.

“Listen… I despise the deal you made with Adelle, and the image of your doings will forever haunt me. But…” she swallowed loudly. “My graphics card is on its way out and I can't afford to replace it, let alone upgrade to a newer model.
